How personal data is collected, processed, stored, and protected.

1. Introduction

The Pips Project (we, us, our) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we store and process it, and your rights regarding your data. This policy applies to all users of the Platform globally and is designed to comply with GDPR, the CCPA, and other applicable data protection laws.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

3. How We Store Your Data

All user data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud-hosted PostgreSQL database platform. Supabase provides encryption at rest and in transit, row-level security policies, SOC 2 compliant infrastructure, and regular backups. Passwords are never stored in plaintext.

We use the following third-party service providers to operate the Platform:

5. We Do Not Sell Your Data

We do not sell, rent, lease, trade, or otherwise disclose your personal data or trading data to any third party including hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, brokers, data aggregators, or advertisers. Your trading history remains within your account.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data remains accessible in read-only mode for 90 days after cancellation, after which it may be permanently deleted. If you request account deletion, all associated data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days of the request.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, data portability, opt-out, and non-discrimination. To exercise any of these rights, email support@thepipsproject.com.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will take steps to delete their account and associated data.

9. International Transfers

Your data may be stored and processed in countries outside your country of residence. By using the Platform, you consent to the transfer of your data to countries that may have different data protection laws. We ensure that all data transfers are subject to appropriate safeguards where required.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated policy with a revised last updated date. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
